Bayberry House Bed and Breakfast Policies:

bulletCheck In is at 4 pm or after.  We try to schedule check in before 6 to allow us to have dinner or attend events with friends and family in the evening.   A later check in can be arranged if necessary.  Because we do not have a traditional 24 hour front desk we ask that you schedule an appointment for your check in.  If your plans change and you will be earlier or later than your scheduled appointment please call us and let us know your anticipated time of arrival so we can meet you.  If you are going to be very late we may arrange a way for you to let yourself into the house and get settled.
bulletCheck Out is by 11 am.  Depending on how busy we are a later departure can sometimes be arranged.
bulletCancellation Policy :  We are a small Inn.  A cancellation has a significant negative impact on our business.   And while we don't like a negative policy experience has led us to require this policy.   To receive a refund of your deposit you must cancel at least 31 days prior to your scheduled arrival date.  If you cancel within 1 week prior to scheduled arrival date you must pay for the entire reservation as if you had stayed.
bulletSecurity Hold:  A damage security hold may also be placed on your credit card which will be released on check out.
bulletRegistered guests only please.   If you are planning on having more than 4 non-registered guests over, please call for per guest event pricing before you make your reservation.
bulletThe guest house and porches are non-smoking.  Cigarette smoking is permitted in the garden only, a receptacle is provided for proper disposal of cigarette butts.  Smoking is not permitted on the porches.  Use of candles is also not allowed in the Inn or either Guest House.
bulletPets we welcome pets (small dogs) in Westfall House, but please talk with us first for prior approval.  Pets cannot be allowed to run free in the house or be left in the yard when you are not there and must be kenneled.  Also, please don't  allow your pets on the beds or other furniture at any time, and clean up any inside or outside messes.
bulletWhen you use the kitchen.  Please leave the kitchen clean.  We ask that you place all your used dishes in the dishwasher, detergent is located under the sink, and please wipe up the counters, tables, stove and other cooking or eating areas of any spills or cooking debris.  We ask that you do not deep fry or pan fry in oil.  Extra trash bags are in the kitchen as well.
bulletInnkeepers and staff may be at times in the living areas of the first floor and storage areas of the second floor (usually in the morning setting up breakfast and in the afternoon when cleaning), guest bedrooms and bathrooms are not entered except for cleaning at a time arranged with you or when you are out of the house.
